How to experience closeness with God | Galatians 5:22-23
If you’ve ever felt like life is pulling you in a hundred directions… if you’ve ever struggled with habits you wish you could break… or if you’ve ever wondered why you feel stuck repeating the same patterns—this message is for you. Today we’re talking about something every single one of us deals with: self-control. Not the shallow, “just try harder” version—but the kind that actually changes you from the inside out. You might not consider yourself religious. You might be exploring faith, or maybe you’ve been burned by it before. But here’s the truth: every one of us has an inner battle between who we are and who we want to become. This message is about that battle—and how you can finally start winning it. We look at ancient wisdom from the Bible that still speaks directly into modern life: • Why we give in to impulses and temptations so easily • Why we do things we regret even when we know better • Why boundaries matter for emotional and mental health • Why our hearts pull us toward what feels right instead of what is right • How to build a life where you’re not controlled by emotions, cravings, people, or pressure This isn’t about perfection. It’s about peace, clarity, and direction. It’s about discovering that you don’t have to be ruled by stress, addiction, anger, comparison, or the expectations of others. And it’s about learning how God can actually help you change—not with guilt, but with power and love. Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years or you barely believe in any of this yet, you’ll find something here that speaks to your life, your habits, your decisions, and your future. If something in this message hits home, or if you want someone to pray for you or walk with you through anything you’re facing—you’re not alone. Send us a message or a prayer request. Someone will reach out. And if you’re exploring faith and want to talk to someone with zero pressure, we’re here for that too. Thanks for watching—stick around. You matter more than you think, and God’s closer than you realize. #selfcontrol #hope #purpose #faithjourney #realchange #overcomingstruggle #findingpeace

Gentleness is not weakness | Galatians 5:22-23
🔥 Gentleness Is NOT Weakness — It’s Strength Under Control | Fruit of the Spirit Teaching As we head into Thanksgiving week, this message hits different. The last three Fruit of the Spirit could not come at a better time. You know the drill—everyone’s smiling, the food smells amazing, the table is set… then family drama shows up uninvited. One uncontrolled spirit can ruin an entire room. But Scripture tells a better way. Galatians 5:22–23 reminds us that gentleness—strength under control—is a mark of a Spirit-led life. It’s not passive. It’s not timid. It’s powerful, steady, and grounded in God. This message dives into: • How uncontrolled strength destroys unity • Why gentleness is biblical strength • How Moses’ journey shows the difference between reacting and responding • Why losing control often means losing influence • What strength under control looks like in real life • How to respond to stress, family tension, and conflict God’s way From Thanksgiving table conflict to Moses killing the Egyptian in Exodus 2, to God reshaping Moses at the burning bush—this teaching shows how God transforms us from impulsive to Spirit-led. If you’ve ever reacted too quickly, spoken before thinking, hurt someone you love, or lost influence because emotion took over… this message is for you. God doesn’t waste these moments. He grows us through them. Gentleness is controlled strength. Controlled words. Controlled emotions. Controlled responses. Controlled leadership. Strength under God’s authority. God has called YOU to be a warrior | Galatians 5:22-23
What does it really mean to “walk by the Spirit” instead of walking by the flesh? In this message from Galatians 5, we look at the daily battle every believer faces—and the power God gives us to live a life marked by real evidence of the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:16 reminds us: “Walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” If you belong to Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives inside of you—permanently. But Scripture also teaches that while you can never lose the Spirit, you can grieve Him (Ephesians 4:30) and quench Him (1 Thessalonians 5:19) when you choose the flesh over surrender. This message walks through: – How the flesh fights against the Spirit – What it means to crucify your passions and desires – Why a believer can resist God for a season but not forever – How the Fruit of the Spirit is real evidence of a changed heart – Why faithfulness is a mark of true spiritual maturity – How biblical heroes like Noah, Abraham, Daniel, Paul, and Jesus Himself displayed Warrior Faithfulness – Six practical ways to live in faithfulness every day (Faith over Fear, Feelings, Anxiety, Frustration, Failure, and more) We also look at the powerful examples in church history—including the Faithful 400 who stayed, served, and held the line through the hardest season of our church’s story. Faithfulness isn’t perfection—it’s perseverance. It’s staying when quitting would be easier. It’s choosing surrender over self. It’s letting the Spirit lead when your feelings want to take control. Jesus embodied this perfectly. Hebrews 12:2 says He “endured the cross” for the joy set before Him. Long before crucifixion even existed, Isaiah 53 prophesied the faithful suffering of Christ—showing that God had us on His mind from the beginning. The question today is: You have the Spirit of God inside you, but are you allowing Him to live through you? If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who needs to be strengthened in their walk with Jesus today. #Galatians5 #FruitOfTheSpirit #HolySpirit #ChristianSermon #BibleTeaching #Faithfulness #WalkByTheSpirit #JesusFollowers #SpiritualGrowth #ChristianLiving #Discipleship #FaithOverFeelings #FaithOverFear #TogetherWeChurch #WarriorFaithfulness #BibleStudy #SermonVideo #ChristianEncouragement

Good people don't go to heaven | Galatians 5:22-23
The Apostle Paul reminds us in Galatians 5:22-23 that “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” The law can’t produce that in you. A rulebook can’t force it. The fruit of the Spirit grows when you choose it daily—when discipline, desire, and devotion replace duty and legalism. In this message, we unpack the sixth fruit: GOODNESS. What does it really mean to “put on goodness” in a world broken by sin? We trace goodness from Genesis 1, where creation was very good, to Genesis 3, where sin shattered what was upright—then to the Cross, where Jesus restored what was lost. You’ll learn: 🌿 Why sin always tries to knock over what God made upright 🌿 Why “good people” don’t go to heaven—saved people do 🌿 How God’s goodness isn’t just moral effort, but His Spirit working through you 🌿 How to rebuild your life when sin has left chaos behind 🌿 Practical steps to live out the fruit of goodness every single day No matter how far you’ve fallen, the Spirit of God can raise you up again. Through Christ, you can be made good again. 📖 Galatians 5:22-23 | Genesis 1:31 | Romans 3:23 | Ephesians 2:8-9 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 ⸻ #TogetherWeChurch #FruitOfTheSpirit #Galatians522 #Goodness #HolySpirit #Jesus #BibleTeaching #ChristianLiving #Sermon #Faith #Hope #SpiritualGrowth #Grace #Salvation #BibleStudy #ChristianEncouragement #ChristianMotivation #ChurchOnline #GospelTruth #FaithInAction #GodIsGood #WalkByTheSpirit #RenewedByGrace #ChristianCommunity

In this message from our Evidence series, Pastor Brian Mills walks through what it means to live by the Fruit of the Spirit and how joy stands out in a world filled with fear, comparison, and chaos.
