Don’t Waste Your Rescue | Psalm 40 Sermon What do you do after God pulls you out of the pit? Do you forget… or do you live like you’ve been rescued? Psalm 40 isn’t just David’s song—it’s a blueprint for every believer who has experienced God’s grace. David knew what it meant to wait on God through pain, betrayal, and loss. He waited to be king, ran for his life, fasted for a dying child, and watched his own son rebel. And yet, in every season, he trusted the Lord who “turned to me and heard my cry.” In this message, we explore how God rescues us—not just from hardship, but from the slimy pit of sin and judgment. And once He lifts us out, He sets our feet on solid ground and gives us a new song to sing.
